Humboldt State University Appoints New Interim Chief of Police

ARCATA, Ca. (KIEM) – Humboldt State University appoints a new Interim Chief of Police after the retirement of former Chief Donn Peterson.

Christina Lofthouse will start in the new role immediately.

She has over two decades of experience working in police departments at universities — at C.S.U. Sacramento State as a Lieutenant and at U.C. Davis as a Sergeant.

Lofthouse has served as an interim lieutenant in the department for the past three months and is a graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy.
