Local Woman Starts a Cupcake Movement to Reward First Responders

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)- In just two weeks a local woman has started a cupcake movement to help first responders and community members deal with the impacts of Covid-19.

In just two weeks Nancy Burrow’s Facebook page You’ve Been CUPCAKED has reached a thousand followers. Burrow bakes cupcakes and surprises people with them. So far she has given cupcakes to Eureka Police Department, Humboldt Bay Fire, and Nurses.

Burrow makes sure to keep a social distance from people when giving them the cupcakes. She says her favorite part is putting a smile on everyones faces when the recieve the sweet pastry.
