Northern California Community Blood Bank in Need of Blood

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)- The Northern California Community Blood Bank is asking residents for help to assist with their low supply of blood.

The blood bank set up their blood mobile today in between Fourth and J street in Eureka giving residents the opportunity to stop by and donate blood.

The blood bank is in need of o positive, o negative, and a negative blood and has seen a shortage in the last few months.

There are currently three blood mobiles that go out every day in the community expect for Saturday’s. the blood bank is making sure to take sanitary precautions by making sure to take every single persons temperature prior to them giving blood.
