HSU offering limited face-to-face courses this fall

ARCATA, Calif. (KIEM) – Humboldt State University will be offering limited face-to-face courses this fall.

The California State University system approved HSU to offer a subset of scheduled labs, activities or field based experiences that cannot be taught virtually.

The option to offer face-to-face instruction was important to HSU as 25% of the universities courses include a hands-on component, one of the highest hands-on proportions in the CSU system.

HSU is closely collaborating with Humboldt County Public Health, and other local partners, to prepare face-to-face plans including health and safety and social responsibility.

A full list of fall courses and whether they will be face-to-face, virtual or hybrid can be found at https://registrar.humboldt.edu/class-schedule.
