PG&E Pleads Guilty in Camp Fire Case

The CEO and President Bill Johnson said in court today that the utility company takes responsibility for their equipment starting the fire that destroyed towns in Butte County.

PG&E plead guilty to 84 counts of involuntary manslaughter and one count of unlawfully starting a fire.

The company will have to pay $25.5 billion dollars in settlements as a result of the fire and pledges to reduce future wildfire risks to the communities they serve.
