EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) – Fireworks stands prepare for this year’s sale.
The Fourth of July is right around the corner and fireworks shows across the country are being cancelled to help slow the spread of the coronavirus. Fireworks stands are doing their part as well.
Robin Smith, a representative of the Redwood Christian Center said that their stand will require masks and social distancing in line. Representatives will wear masks while a plastic barrier will separate customers and vendors for safety.
Stands will begin their sale on June 28 and the funds support a variety of causes. Sales at the Redwood Christian Center stand will benefit the organization’s family camp.
Since there are no local fireworks shows, Smith expects sales to increase.
