2 new Covid-19 cases, 8 more recoveries reported Thursday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — Two new cases of Covid-19 are reported by the Public Health Department Thursday.

On a more encouraging note, 8 more people have recovered from the virus bringing that number to 123. Right now, health officials are monitoring 11 active cases.

The total number of people that have tested positive for the virus in Humboldt County is now 138. Of the total cases, over 60% had contact to a known case, just over 20-percent were travel acquired, and close to 17% are a result of community transmission.
