Nine Lumberjacks Earn CCAA Winter All-Academic Team Honors

ARCATA, Calif. (KIEM) – Nine Humboldt State athletes earned CCAA Winter All-Academic Team Honors.

These nine Lumberjacks are members of the men’s and women’s basketball teams. Student athletes must be a sophomore or above and earn a 3.3 GPA or better.

Gabrielle Carbajal, Madeline Hatch, Alexia Thrower, and Tyra Tuner from the women’s squad were named to the all-academic team. On the men’s side Bryce Jackson, Victor Mijas, Arash Poorsina, Gabrys Sadaunykas, and Jackson Strong earned the honors as well.

Ninety-nine men and women from the CCAA were honored for their academic success.
