HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — 5 new cases of Covid-19 are reported by the Public Health Department Monday bringing the county’s total case count to 149.
Of the 149 total cases, there are 5 more reported in Northern Humboldt and 15 more in the greater Humboldt Bay area. The number of cases from Southern Humboldt remains unchanged.
The average age and ratio of cases among men and women is unchanged as well. Seven more cases are among people under the age of 20, 4 more among people in their 20’s, 5 more among people in their 30’s, and 4 more cases for people in their 40’s. Fortunately, the older people that tend to be more prone to sever ailments haven’t reported an increase in cases. 5 cases are still under investigation
