5 new Covid-19 cases reported Tuesday, Humboldt County case count now 154

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — 5 new cases of Covid-19 are reported by the Public Health Department Tuesday bringing the total case count for Humboldt County to 154.

On a more encouraging note, 10 more people have recovered from the virus bringing that number to 133. Health officials are currently monitoring 17 active cases.

Of the total cases, 95 had contact to a known case, 35 were travel acquired, and 23 were a result of community transmission. Right now, 1 case is still under investigation.
