EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) – A Eureka church holds a community prayer walk bringing churches from the area together amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Community members gathered in the parking lot of Eureka The Pentecostal Church. The prayer walk took a new look as local residents came together in unity while remaining in their cars to social distance. Pastors from different churches in the community spoke to the crowd and breakfast was provided for all.
Over 300 participants chose the area in which they wanted to pray. Next, they dispersed with the goal of covering the city in prayer. The church saw a large turnout for the drive-in gathering as cars flooded the parking lot.
Pastor Jonathan McDonald was excited about the success of the event.
