EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) – After a long wait, the highly anticipated opening of In-N-Out finally arrived.
Local residents were more than excited. The new location provided drive through, takeout, and outdoor seating options. Opening day brought a steady flow of customers, but the drive through was the most popular option.
In-N-Out employees wore masks and social distanced. The business was also equipped with a hand sanitizer station and a barrier between customers and employees at the counter.
The turnout was so large that the drive through had it’s own lane on Broadway. The line even wrapped around neighboring buildings. Some community members were shocked by how long the line stretched. Others thought it was not long enough.
Multiple customers voiced their excitement about what the new location means for the future of Eureka as they thought welcoming the new business was a step in the right direction.
