Uplift Eureka helping mask homeless community one mask at a time

A city wide volunteer movement is helping make the difference one mask at a time. For the past three months Uplift Eureka has revived over 2000 donated masks and it’s all going towards a good cause.

With the ongoing pandemic still prevalent in the community, Uplift Eureka is making sure the homeless population is keeping safe from the virus.

A staff comprised of less than ten people is asking for your help in donating masks.

Once a mask is donated at Eurka City Hall, the organization will send them to get cleaned at Henderson Center Laundry Matt. When this is done the masks make their way St. Vincent de Paul Society, from there they are given out to the homeless.

If you’re wanting to donate a mask, and do not currently have one you can simply make one yourself and drop it off.

If you would like to make a donation you can simply mail them to the Adorni Center.
