6 cases of Covid-19 reported by the Public Health Department Tuesday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Public Health Department reports 6 new cases of Covid-19 Tuesday bringing Humboldt County’s total case count to 195. The current alert level stands at 2, and has remained unchanged since last Thursday.

Right now, health officials are monitoring 31 active cases with the number of recoveries still at 160. Hospitalizations remains unchanged as well. Of the total cases, 109 had contact to a known case, 49 were travel related, and 24 were a result of community transmission.

Currently, there are 13 cases still under investigation.
