Humboldt-Del Norte Film Commission Exceeding Protocols Set Forth by the State

Humboldt, Del Norte County, Calif. (KIEM) – The Humboldt-Del Norte Film Commission would like the community to know that they are going above and beyond the protocols set forth for film and TV production in California.

A 22 page White Paper was developed and approved by the California Governor to open up productions in the state.

While trying to take advantage of the economic opportunity for filming, the health and safety of the community is the commission’s number one priority says Commissioner, Cassandra Hesseltine.

Humboldt and Del Norte counties have taken further steps beyond what the White Paper requires to insure this happens. Including not having productions impact local hospitals and testing centers. They are trying to fix all things that could go wrong before they ever do.

The commission currently has one small production in Humboldt and is looking to have a larger production in September. They are looking for a unique home to film at and if you know of one click HERE to let them know.
