EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) – Nearly six months have passed since Changing Tides Family Services has been offering the community essential items and tools amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but they are not done just yet.

During the first week of August, Changing Tides will be hosting a fifth segment of its ‘Health, Safety and Quality during COVID-19’ training.

With thousands of cases arising in child care facilities across California, Changing Tides wants to ensure that our local facilities have the tools and resources they need if an employee or child tests positive.

The training is open to anyone providing care for children as it will cover useful cleaning procedures, recovery and reopening after COVID-19 exposure.

A final date for the training will be posted on Changing Tides Facebook page by next week.

With over $100,000 of supplies already distributed to the community, Changing Tides wants to remind you that they are just a call away if you need assistance amid the current pandemic.
