Scavenger hunt created by city to help support local business

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM)-For those who love riddles, quizzes and enjoy the outdoors? The City of Eureka has come up with a unique and creative idea to help support the community and have fun while doing it.  

Get ready to have fun in the “Heart of Eureka” by participating in a scavenger hunt.  

How it works, visit local businesses, public art, and historic buildings, to hunt for answers of listed questions found in a free booklet.  

Participants can win prizes, and learn about the rich history, special people and places connected to both Old Town and Downtown districts, all while having fun and helping the community rebuild.
