Free COVID-19 test site maxed out, All appointments taken

FORTUNA, Calif. (KIEM)-Community members took full advantage of the free CORONAVIRUS testing site Tuesday, in Fortuna.

Appointments for COVID-19 testing held at the Gene Lucas Community Center on Newberg Road were booked to capacity and some people were turned away.

The event was by appointment only and open to any members of the public, also
to people who are not currently experiencing symptoms.

The mobile testing site utilized the less invasive anterior nasal swab which
was available to all ages.
