American Cancer Society Relay For Life

Humboldt County, Calif. (KIEM) – For almost 30 years Relay for Life, Humboldt County’s longest standing fight against cancer will continue despite COVID-19. This weekend starts a week long modified fundraiser and acknowledgment of the challenging journey a cancer patient faces.

In years past this walk or run around a local track brings teams together for 24 hours. Not being able to safely do that this year, they are asking participants to log the length of Humboldt County, 131 miles, by walking, running, hiking or even get on a treadmill throughout the week.
