Red Cross ramping up volunteer efforts amid Covid-19 & fire season

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM)- If you’re interested in serving to meet essential services needed in the community, the red cross is ramping up their efforts to recruit volunteers.
The need is constant and endless especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and now, fire season.

Volunteer opportunities include supporting evacuees and delivering much-needed services to their respective community, work-from-home opportunities are also available.The non-profit assures they are working closely with public health officials to help ensure local communities and volunteers are safe.
