9 Cases of Covid-19 reported Tuesday, total case count now 245

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Public Health Department reports 9 new cases of covid-19 Tuesday bringing the total case count for Humboldt County to 245. The county’s alert level remains at level 3.

Right now, health officials are monitoring 52 active cases. The number of recoveries remains unchanged. Of the total cases, 126 had contact to a known case, 67 were travel related, and 34 were a result of community transmission.

Currently, there are 18 cases still under investigation.
