6 new Covid-19 cases reported Wednesday, total case count now 299

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Public Health Department reports 6 new cases of Covid-19 Wednesday bringing Humboldt County’s total case count to 299.

The county’s overall threat level remains at level 3. Right now, health officials are monitoring 62 active cases.

Of the total cases, 161 had contact to a known case, 70 were travel related, and 43 were a result of community transmission. Currently, there are 25 cases still under investigation.
