Artist continue their work at the Eureka Street Art Festival

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM)- Today marks day two for artists at the Eureka Street Art Festival.

This years festival may look  a lot different than past festivals due to Covid-19  restrictions. There will no longer be a block party for artist and community members to gather at, instead artist are hard at work while socially distanced all throughout Henderson Center.

Eleven artist have been hard at work this week, with some coming from out of the area to showcase their art skills.

If you plan on taking a walk around the area you will find large scale pieces of world class art. The goal of the festival is to introduce new and engaging art to the local community.

Any excess funds raised by the festival will go towards the maintenance of existing public art throughout the city.
