Southern Trinity Health Services offers low income care

SCOTIA, Calif. (KIEM)- Southern Trinity Health Services in Scotia is offering community members the opportunity to make their next doctors visit a little less stressful.

The health center is now offering Covid-19 tests with a wait time of about a week.

The community health center currently has three locations in the county to service patients, those being in Scotia, Mad River, and Weaverville. Some of the services that are offered to patients include primary care, dental, mental health counseling, and Covid-19 tests.

The facility currently takes most insurance, and if you do not have insurance a sliding fee program is available through grant funding the center receives from the federal government.

As for wait time, a week is currently the longest a patient will have to wait to get tested. Medical personal are also meeting with patients virtually to help diagnose them.
