86 Lumberjacks named to All-Academic Team

ARCATA, Calif. (KIEM) – The California Collegiate Athletic Association announced the 2019-2020 All-Academic Team.

Eighty-six Humboldt State University Lumberjacks earned honors. A record 1,169 athletes were recognized by the conference this year. The previous record was set last year with 900 award recipients.

To earn the award, athletes had to earn a 3.4 GPA or higher in addition to earning a varsity letter in a conference sponsored sport. The basketball, cross country, track and field, soccer, softball, and volleyball teams were all represented.
