5 new Covid-19 cases reported in Humboldt County Tuesday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Public Health Department reports 5 new cases of Covid-19 Tuesday bringing Humboldt County’s total case count to 325.

Health officials are currently monitoring 53 active cases. The number of recoveries and hospitalizations remains unchanged. Of the total cases, 196 had contact to a known case, 74 were travel related, and 47 a result of community transmission.

Right now, there are 8 cases under investigation. The county’s overall alert level remains at level 3.
