HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) – As Humboldt State University students come back to campus, COVID-19 testing continues in order to keep Lumberjacks safe.

Initial testing has not been completed yet, but Dr. Teresa Frankovich expects more results soon. On Friday, she provided an update on the process and provided a timeline for the completion of testing. Approximately 200 tests are expected to come in over the next few days.

As of Saturday, HSU administered approximately 600 tests. Five students tested positive and all were asymptomatic. After the first round of testing, students will be tested periodically.
