Early morning stabbing in Southern Humboldt leaves one injured

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) –The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing that left one injured down in southern Humboldt.

Tuesday morning shortly after 12:45 am, HCSO deputies were on patrol on Bell Springs Road near Alderpoint Road when they located an adult male stabbing victim. Deputies rendered lifesaving aid to the victim who was then transported to a local hospital. He is in stable condition and expected to survive.

Upon further investigation, deputies learned an assault reportedly took place at property in the Harris area that resulted in the victim’s injuries.

A search warrant was served at the property to collect further evidence. This is an active investigation, and no suspect information is available at this time.
