Woman arrested for reportedly stabbing a man during an argument

GARBERVILLE, Calif. (KIEM) — A woman is arrested after reportedly stabbing a man during an altercation down in Garberville.

Last Saturday, HCSO deputies were called out to the area of Alderpoint Road and Redwood Drive for the report of a possible stabbing victim. Deputies found an adult male victim with non-life-threatening injuries to his face and arm.

Deputies learned the suspect, 32-year-old Ruby Jean Tyldsley, and victim knew each other and began arguing. During the argument, Tyldsley reportedly struck the victim with an object and then with a knife.

Tyldsley was located on scene. She is facing charges for assault with a deadly weapon and inflicting corporal injury on a spouse, in addition to a misdemeanor arrest warrant.
