National Dog Day

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM) – August 26th is National Dog Day! Colleen Paige, a pet lifestyle expert, founded the National Dog Day in 2004.

The United States celebrates this holiday each year to commemorate man’s best friend. It is the perfect day to give your furry friend a special treat.

If you do not have a dog, you can always celebrate the day by volunteering or making a donation to a local animal shelter.
