Washington Elementary School hosts drive-up school supply giveaway

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM)- With the first week of classes almost in the books, educators at Washington Elementary School were able to see their students face to face during a drive up school supply giveaway.

Teachers were filled with excitement to see their students drive up with families yesterday morning. Families made sure to stay in their vehicles while teachers handed out supplies to them.

Students can utilize all the items in the bag for when they are at home distance learning. Items included are crayons, pencils, and folders.

This is the first round of school supply giveaway at the elementary school.
