6 new Covid-19 cases, 2 more recoveries reported Thursday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — Six new cases of Covid-19 are confirmed by the Public Health Department Thursday bringing Humboldt’s total case count to 403.

Two more recoveries were reported Thursday as well, bringing that number to 348. Health officials are currently monitoring 51 active cases.

Of the total cases, 248 had contact to a known case, 90 are travel related, and 52 are a result of community transmission. Right now, there are 13 cases under investigation.
