Unhealthy to very unhealthy air quality due to area wildfires

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — Area wildfires continue to negatively impact the air quality here on the North Coast with many areas experiencing very unhealthy conditions.

In Humboldt County, Eureka, including Rio Dell to Trinidad, Garberville, Redway, and nearby communities are seeing unhealthy air quality. Willow Creek, Weitchpec, and the Hoopa Valley are experiencing very unhealthy conditions. An alert was issued Monday for hazardous conditions in Orleans.

Up in Del Norte County, Crescent City and Klamath have reached unhealthy conditions with Gasquet seeing unhealthy to very unhealthy conditions.
