HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM)-A fund set up specifically for Indigenous peoples is now accepting applications for those affected by wildfire.
The Seventh Generation Fund for Indigenous Peoples is offering emergency funding to Native families impacted by wildfire in our area.
These are one-time disbursements that will be coordinated through the Flicker Fund to provide help during evacuations, loss of homes, escape from heavy smoke events, and other emergencies.
