2 new Covid-19 cases, 6 more recoveries reported Wednesday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department confirms 2 new cases of Covid-19 Wednesday bringing the county’s total case count to 481.

Six more recoveries have been reported as well, bringing that number to 416. Health officials are currently monitoring 59 active cases. Of the total cases, 301 contracted the virus through contact with a known case, 99 were travel related, and 63 a result of community transmission.

There are 18 cases under investigation.
