Grant affords Tribe to give back to community

DEL NORTE COUNTY, Calif. -Hundred-boxes of food was delivered Tuesday to Yurok Tribal Elders living in the Tribe’s voting districts. 

A team of Tribal staff led by Yurok Health and Human Services also delivered a limited quantity of HEPA filters – which was afforded through a grant from the California Food Pantry.

The food and filter deliveries are part of the Yurok Tribe’s effort to assist tribal elders during the COVID-19 crisis.
