HCSO investigating Carlotta shooting that left one injured

CARLOTTA, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident in Carlotta that left one man injured.

It started Wednesday afternoon around 2:30 when deputies were called to a home on the 19500 block of Highway 36 for a shots fired call. Deputies found out an argument between 6 people broke out at the home, and at some point shots were fired and a man was injured. The victim was taken to a local hospital, but the extent of his condition is unknown.

No arrests have been made so far, but everyone involved has been accounted for. The case is under investigation.
