3 new Covid-19 cases, 28 more recoveries reported since Friday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department reports 3 new cases of Covid-19 since Friday bringing Humboldt County’s total case count to 485. Health officials are monitoring 27 active cases.

As far as the regional breakdown, 2 more have been reported in northern Humboldt, 7 more in the greater Humboldt Bay area, and 3 more have been reported in southern Humboldt.

As far as the age range of cases, 3 more cases were reported among people in their 20’s, 3 more among people in their 30’s, and 3 more in people in their 40’s. People in their 50’s and people over the age of 80 both saw 1 more case each.

Some changes to the county dashboard Monday. The 0 to 19 age group has been broken down into 2 categories: 0 to 9 and 10 to 19 years old. Combined this age group saw one new case in the last week.

On a more encouraging note, 28 more recoveries have been reported bringing that number to 452.
