Probation search leads to narcotics arrest in Willow Creek

WILLOW CREEK, Calif. (KIEM) — A traffic stop and probation search leads to a narcotics arrest in Willow Creek.

On September 19th just before 3 pm, Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle on the 800 block of Highway 96 in Willow Creek. Three people were inside and one of the passengers, 46-year-old Walter Louis Cosce Jr of Hoopa, was on active probation.

Deputies searched Cosce Jr and found about 2.5 ounces of methamphetamine and about one pound of cannabis. Cosce Jr is facing charges for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sales, and probation violation.
