PG&E contributes $500,000 to Humboldt County Schools

EUREKA,Calif. (KIEM)- In order to help students in the county be equipped with the tools they need to succeed this school year PG&E gave $500,000 to purchase computers and internet hotspots for students in the community.

With the ongoing pandemic presenting an inequitable access to technology for some students, PG&E decided to step and in support students and schools in rural and underserved communities.

With help from the CDE Foundation PG&E was able to distribute set amounts of money to each Humboldt County School.
