Zogg Fire Reaches 56,305 Acres

SHASTA COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM) – The Zogg fire has reached 56,305 acres and is now 82% contained.

More than 1,700 people are working to put out the flames using 191 engines, nine helicopters, 53 water tenders, and 16 dozers.

So far, 204 structures have been destroyed, 27 have been damaged, and four people have lost their lives.

Evacuation orders have been lifted for residents on Rainbow Lake Road and all adjoining roadways west of Sunny Hill Road.
