National Weather Service asking for help locating missing buoys

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) — The National Weather Service in Eureka is asking for the public’s help to find some missing buoys. The buoys were last seen anchored in the northwest corner of Eel Canyon.

Officials are worried they could pose a hazard to whales that migrate through the area. If you have seen them, contact Troy.Nicolini@noaa.gov.
