A woman under investigation for drugs and driving with a suspended driver’s license

The Humboldt County Drug Task Force conducted a surveillance on 33-year-old Melissa Parker. Parker was driving a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license on Harris Avenue and K Street in Eureka.

Agents were able to see Parker was carrying marijuana, a digital scale, and a bong in plain sight. After searching Parker’s vehicle, agents located a half pound of methamphetamine, 1.5 ounces of heroine, about 2 pounds of marijuana, and a digital scale.

Parker was released from the scene with a licensed driver to operate her vehicle. The Humboldt County Drug Task Force will request charges.
