2 new Covid-19 cases reported in Humboldt County Thursday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department confirms two new cases of Covid-19 Thursday. This brings the county’s total case count to 544 with health officials currently monitoring 16 active cases.

County Health Officer Dr. Frankovich reminds the community that Covid-19 safety measures are increasingly important as flu season begins.

Of the total cases reported since the start of the pandemic, 348 people had contact to a known case, 114 were travel related, and 73 a result of community transmission. The number of hospitalizations, as well as recoveries, remains unchanged for Thursday.
