Red flag warning for the August Complex Fire

HUMBOLDT, MENDOCINO, AND TRINITY COUNTIES, Ca. (KIEM) – The August Complex Fire is under a red flag warning as weather conditions may increase the fire activity in the area.

Crews are working in the area of Ruth Lake to evaluate repair needs and prevent future erosion.

PG&E is working to repair the power lines around Ruth Lake to allow people to return home.

The fire is now more than 1,030,000 acres with 78% containment.
