4 new Covid-19 cases, 4 more recoveries reported Tuesday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health department confirms 4 new cases of Covid-19 Tuesday. This brings the total case count to 558 with health officials monitoring 20 active cases.

One more hospitalization was reported today as well. Of the total cases, 356 people had contact with a known case, 115 were travel related, and 74 a result of community transmission. On a more encouraging note, 4 more recoveries were also reported bringing that number to 529.

The state announced Tuesday Humboldt remains in the yellow tier with a positivity rate of 0.5% and an adjusted case rate of 1.
