1 new Covid-19 case, 4 more recoveries reported Friday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department confirms only one new case of Covid-19 Friday. This brings the total case count to 562 with health officials monitoring 18 active cases.

Of the total cases, 357 people contracted the virus through contact with a known case, 116 cases were travel related, and 73 a result of community transmission. There are 16 cases under investigation.

Some encouraging news, 4 more recoveries were reported Friday as well, bringing that number to 535.
