SHASTA-TRINITY NF, SIX RIVERS NF, AND MENDOCINO NF, Ca. (KIEM) – The August Complex Fire reaches 91% containment and has burned more than 1,032,000 acres.
Crews worked overnight along the Ruth Lake corridor and are checking areas around structures to watching for flare-ups.
A group of more than 40 fire fighters are working to repair and protect the municipal watershed in Ruth Lake.
Crews will continue to monitor, patrol, and improve fire lines.
Only 9% of the fire perimeter remains uncontrolled, with the remaining sections of line located miles apart.
