Armed robbery at a coffee shop in Eureka

The Eureka Police Department responded to an armed robbery report at a coffee shop in Eureka.

According to employees, the robbery happened as they were closing up the business when an unknown man entered through the backdoor and demanded money with a firearm. He eventually took an employee’s purse and left the scene.

Officers were not able to locate the suspect, which was described as a male, 5’9, wearing all dark clothing and boots.
