Non-profit organizes winter cloth drive, Volunteers needed

ARCATA, Calif. (KIEM)-With nights getting colder, warm clothing is not a want, but a need.

 A local non-profit wants to fill that need, with the help from the community.

Arcata House Partnership will hold a winter clothing drive on November 7th between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Emerald City Laundry, located at 1210 G Street in Arcata.

They are asking for men’s and women’s clothes, heavy blankets and sleeping bags, as well as winter gear such as socks, gloves, scarves, and hats and long under wear.
